Targeted at Linux administrators and Windows server migrants, the BeginLinux.com Skill Builder sessions are one hour classes designed to provide students with a firm understanding of a specific skill. This is done through audio, visual and student application training during the class.

The Skill Builder courses are designed for people who want to learn specific Linux skills by attending a live class online, watching an instructor perform a task, ask questions of the instructor and then in class complete the task themselves on a virtual instance of the server.

Focusing on Linux administration skills that are currently in high demand, the class topics range from Using The vi Text Editor to Monitoring Windows with Nagios. Over thirty different Skill Builder classes are now available at BeginLinux.com.

To kick off the Skill Builder classes, BeginLinux.com is providing a full week of Apache web server tutorials, tips and consulting this week followed by various Apache web server training classes next week. The class times and topics are shown below.

  • Monday, July 19th 8PM EST |     Setup The Apache Web Server
  • Tuesday, July 20th 8PM EST |    Virtual Hosting on Apache
  • Wednesday, July 21th 8PM EST |     Special Features of Apache
  • Thursday, July 22th 8PM EST |     Setup LAMP on Apache
