To change the screensaver and options for the screensaver click on System --- Preferences --- Screensaver.
With the Screensaver Preferences window open select a screensaver on the left and you'll see a preview for it in the main window. Move the slider to prolong the period before the screensaver is activated.
Selecting the Power Management button brings up two tabs. The AC Power tab covers Actions and Display options for saving power.
The General tab offers options for Actions performed and Notifications.
Clicking the Preview button brings up the fullscreen preview where you may shuffle through screensavers viewing them in fullscreen mode. click Leave Fullscreen in the top right to end it.
