Here's a video showing the Ubuntu resolution changed in the terminal and using the appearance preferences window.

Thanks Andrew. It's nice to be able to change the resolution from the command line too. Would have been handy to know that on my last install when I couldn't even get past the login screen because the resolution was so small. Thank ya!

We sell professional Linux training packages including certified instructor led training, online courses, and training CDs with Linux videos on them. As you post in the forum or complete courses on our site you'll gain karma and post count. Both of these directly effect your "ranking" which can give you big discounts on our products.
* Level 1 - Hatchling (5% discount)
* Level 2 - Fledgling (10% discount)
* Level 3 - Adult (20% discount)
Also, ranking members are more likely to be promoted to moderator and offered insider project-based Linux jobs like article writing.

This is a good idea for folks that want to *earn* their training...not all of us have big companies to foot the bill.
GOOD IDEA!
